 To reach the highest point possible on Bell Rock requires some level 4 scrambling. While it is exhilarating to be here, reaching it requires some fitness and ability. It's definitely not for those afraid of heights. 

FINDING THE TRAILHEAD

 From the Courthouse Vista parking area on Hwy 179, walk southeast on the trail directly towards Bell Rock and follow the signs.

Once you get on the rock itself veer to the right at the top of the first big ledge. Follow this ledge around the base of the rock toward the highway. Quickly you will come to a large break in the cliffs, where the difficult part of the scramble begins.
