The Oak Creek Arch is reached via a social trail that starts at the parking area for Slide Rock State Park. This beautiful arch gets missed by most visitors to the park, who are focused primarily on the swimming area, but it makes a great side trip for those who are ready to take a short break from the water.

FINDING THE TRAILHEAD

Park at Slide Rock State Park, located 6 miles north of Sedona on Hwy 89A (at GPS 34.94299 -111.75289). There is a social trail that climbs to the arch near the picnic tables at the back of the parking area.
