Chimney Rock Loop
The Chimney Rock Loops are a formed by connecting three system trails in the Coconino National Forest: Thunder Mountain, Lower Chimney Rock, and Chimney Rock Pass. The entire loop is well marked with signs and easy to follow. Close to town and with good views, these heavily used loops are perfect for a quick 1-2 hour hike.
There are two photo opportunities along the way. One is the Amitabha Stupa, a popular Buddhist prayer and meditation shrine. The other is the view from the top of Chimney Rock Pass (shown above).
PRECISE DIRECTIONS, MAPS, VIDEO AND A MORE EXTENSIVE PHOTO GALLERY FOR ALL OUR HIKES (BUT NO GPS TRACKS) ARE ALSO PROVIDED TO SUBSCRIBERS ON LOCALS.COM FOR $5 PER MONTH
